Call it what you want – male pattern baldness, female balding, alopecia, or diffuse Thinning, the bottom line is that you’re losing your hair and you want to do something about it. Scalp Micropigmentation is the answer you’ve been looking for.
Scalp Micropigmentation is the ultimate in non-surgical male and female scalp grooming; an incredible life-changing treatment where natural pigments are applied at the epidermal level of the scalp to replicate the natural appearance of real hair follicles depending on your hair loss extent, and desired look. Our method is regarded as the best treatment of its kind available in the world today, using only natural pigments and application methods. Micropigmentation is suitable for all types and stages of hair-loss, on all ages, colors and skin types. The follicle buildup of Micropigmentation normally takes place over approximately 3 sessions, each taking approximately 2-3 hours with at least one to two weeks between sessions. The process allows for a very gradual and subtle rejuvenation and infill of the hairline, creating the most realistic finish giving a younger more confident hairline, rarely identified even up close.
What does Scalp Micropigmentation?
Give the look of a full, youthful head of cropped hair simulate a full-front, side and/or rear hairline Restore hairlines on part-bald or fully bald heads Camouflage – permanently – the symptoms of all levels of alopecia Camouflage scarring resulting from previous hair transplant surgery Hide scars, burns and birthmarks Boost the visual effect of a hair transplant
How does the process work?
The application of Scalp Micropigmentation is usually quite painless. There may be a little discomfort in more sensitive regions like the temples, but most people report only very mild sensitivity during their procedure. We offer our own numbing lotion clients who may be concerned about any discomfort, although for most people it really isn’t necessary.
When implanting our inks, we match the hair perfectly, then go one shade darker, to give the shadow illusion to get the full head of hair which achieves the look that is desired. We perform our procedure very softly through the frontal hairline and breaking up the impressions to give it the natural appearance. Going through the top and sides of thin hair, we go much more dense to reduce any contrast in shade between the color of the hair and the color of the scalp, to provide the maximum illusion of density.
